Multiple Home Pages
Firefox allows for multiple home pages in the browser. While in Firefox:
* Open all the tabbed pages you want to use as home pages.
* Open the Tools --> Options --> General window.
* Underneath the home page location bar is a button marked 'Use Current Pages'. Click on this button and Firefox will automatically make all the tabs, that are open, your home pages.

You probably already tried the new firefox 2.0
and think it adds some great value that you would like to use immediately.Anti-Phishing enhancements, a built in spell checker, the ability to restore sessions and to undo closed tabs are great additions..
can use a extension called Nightly Tester Tools to make MOST extensions
[ mostly updated July/August extensions posted ]
compatible with firefox 2.0 [ AND 3.0+ ]. Most authors of extensions define a range of firefox versions that their extension works with and 2.0 [ and 3.0 ] is obviously not included in many extensions.
MOST extensions I have installed REQUIRED nightly tester tools to install.

Nightly Tester Tools
and install the extension. Restart firefox afterwards and click on tools then add-ons. Hit Make all compatible and restart firefox again. All extensions should be working fine with firefox 2.0 now. Some might not be working due to incompatibilities. If that is the case deactivate all extensions again and activate one by one to see which ones are causing troubles.
If everything worked out you are ready to use firefox 2.0 [ and 3.0 ] with all extension.

must say, nothing really angers me more while I’m browsing the internet than when a website resizes my browser window. It’s like a pet peeve. I just hate resizing it. I use Firefox, so I’ve been looking for a quick fix that won’t allow websites to do this. I couldn’t find it in the Firefox preferences anywhere, and it was starting to get on my nerves. But, to my avail, I just found it!Here is how to prevent sites from resizing your Firefox window…
1. Open Firefox, Preferences (or if you’re on Windows…Tools, Options)
2. Go to the Content Tab
3. To the right of “Enable Javascript” hit “Advanced…”.
4. Uncheck “Move or Resize Existing Windows”

Right-click on a banner and choose "Adblock" from the context menu - the banner won't be downloaded again. Or click Adblock Plus icon in the toolbar to see all elements of the page and block the banners.

Discontinuous Selections!
This is a really cool feature and is going to one of my favorites in Fx 3. Say you want to quote a couple sections of an article but the sections you want to quote are not together (discontinuous). In Fx 2 you select the first section you want to quote, copy then paste. Then you repeat the process for the next section. With Fx 3, this will be no more! Select the first section, then while holding down the control key select the next section, then do your copy and paste.
